Ricky Varney, LPC-MHSP
Hello, my name is Ricky. Life can be overwhelming and even painful. Sometimes going through it on your own can be intimidating, but with help it can also be beautiful. As a therapist I want to meet people where they are now, not where they believe they should be.
Like you, I am always learning and growing in this journey called life. I believe in relationship, vulnerability, maturity and laughter.
As a counselor, I have worked with a variety of populations including adults, couples, adolescents, children, and groups. Throughout my career at various agencies and private practices I have worked with an array of presenting issues, including but not limited to: grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, anger, mood instability, finding personal authenticity, building self-esteem, stress management, overcoming pornography, and relational/marital issues.
I would love to partner with you to help build health and inspire growth. Together we can tackle negative thinking and combat poor decision making to strengthen the potential of interpersonal relationships and love for self. It is my belief that a therapeutic relationship can be a means to identify and overcome challenges in one’s life. I understand this is your life and your treatment. I am a person that wants to help the individual, couple and/or family work toward living a healthy and productive life.
Currently I work with adults 18 and up.
Erica Powell, LPC-MHSP
I am passionate about working with clients from any cultural background, gender, sexual orientation or belief system. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I utilize several types of treatment modalities such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, person- centered therapy and individual psychotherapy. I am also trained to use eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) as an effective intervention for trauma. I am comfortable working with clients that struggle with depression, anxiety, abandonment issues, relationship dilemmas, trauma, addiction and a broad spectrum of other clinical issues. I offer my clients a safe non-judgmental environment that allows for processing, growth and healing.
Alexis Castle, LPC-MHSP
Alexis is a creative therapist known for her direct and compassionate approach. She values working collaboratively with her clients to help them achieve their goals. Understanding that beginning therapy can be a challenging step, Alexis strives to create a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for every individual she works with.
She specializes in trauma, complex PTSD, narcissistic abuse, and dissociative disorders. Additionally, Alexis works with women navigating ADHD—particularly those diagnosed in adulthood. She is trained in EMDR and holds comprehensive training in Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), a cutting-edge psychotherapeutic approach that focuses on tracking a unique neurophysiological sequence within deep brain systems. DBR has proven especially effective for those with early attachment trauma, often at the root of dissociative conditions.
Alexis integrates brain-based modalities to support the brain’s innate capacity to heal and rewire neural pathways, leading to lasting change and a restored sense of well-being. She is also trained in Ego State Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), all of which enhance cognitive and emotional skill-building.
Through the therapeutic relationship, Alexis aims to foster interventions that empower clients to tap into their inner strengths and resources—not just to cope, but to grow, process the past, and move forward with greater contentment and deeper connection to themselves and the people who matter most.
Currently she sees clients ages 16 and up.
