Lakshmie Napagoda, LCSW

Mental health therapy can help you explore and discover new ways to approach challenging situations that will enhance your well-being. If you are seeking therapy to heal from past traumas and/or abuse, manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, anger, grief, etc., learn ways to address your self-esteem related concerns, learn coping skills, heal from betrayals, or learn ways to build healthy relationships, my expertise and qualifications, combined with my empathetic nature, might inspire you to launch a journey with me toward experiencing relief from the hurts you are experiencing right now.

I have worked with individuals, mainly adults, and couples for over 18 years, both online and in person. I collaborate with my clients to identify goals and develop practical strategies to achieve them. I use different therapeutic modalities depending on the issues you bring to the therapy space. Some of these therapeutic modalities include Acceptance Commitment therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused therapy (SFT).

Telehealth has allowed me to reach individuals who may face barriers to in-person therapy, ensuring that quality mental health care is accessible to everyone, regardless of many constraints.

My faith and my Sri Lankan cultural background combinations have led me to respect and accept individuals for who they are regardless of their faith and cultural backgrounds. It will be a joy to walk with you in your healing journey.

Jacob Ramsey, LPC-MHSP

I strive to ensure clients feel truly heard and understood. Personal experiences have taught me the significance of having a compassionate listener, and providing that same level of empathy and support to each client is part of my goal.

I understand the complexities of the various roles we inhabit in life—whether as a sister, friend, father, mother, son, or student— and I know they can bring immense joy but also significant stress and confusion. I believe sharing these experiences with a skilled listener can be a crucial step towards healing and personal growth.

I have extensive experience working with individuals facing PTSD and trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction issues, and life transitions. I also have experience in resolving parent/child relationship issues, helping clients discover and connect with core values and goals, and offer pre-marital counseling services.

More than just listening, my approach targets problem areas using evidence-based treatment options, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Sessions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, so don’t worry if these are’t familiar to you.

I collaborate with clients to set clear counseling goals to ensure consistent progress. I engage clients actively through personalized homework assignments, connect them with helpful resources, and employ creative strategies to bring about meaningful change.

Come work with me for a professional, empathetic, and results-oriented counseling experience for healing and growth in life.

I offer a free, brief 15 minute introductory phone call. If you would like to speak before setting up a session, please contact our office to set that up.

Currently I work with adults 18 years and up.
